I have stumbled upon some journaling prompts from 2011 at the blog A Year in the Life of an Art Journal, which is doing different prompts in 2013. In 2011, the prompts were inspired by song lyrics. One's a song called Strut, by an artist whose name I can't remember, and another was an 80s favorite of mine, “Manic Monday” by the Bangles. I thought a verse in “Strut” was perfect for a page about my commitment to running/walking several times a week, and on Sundays with an established group. (I'm walking with them here). When I later saw the “Manic Monday” prompt, and the words in its chorus “I wish it was Sunday, that's my don't have to run day” I decided to add a ribbon and add at the bottom “I'm glad it is Sunday, my I do have to run day!”
