Wow! This is beautiful! I think the embossing was worth it! Very nice!
These are very nice! You can't ever go wrong with understated elegance like this.
I think these are lovely- what a friend you are to make them! I had an autumn wedding and we used a leaf theme- so this is my kind of invitation! Very pretty
Thanks! I'll have to check on the EP but I think I got it at Archiver's and I think they only had one brand. Just called Gold.
You did a great job! These are lovely. I love the shade of the gold embossed leaf. Very understated and classy. What EP did you use?

Project - Simple Fall Wedding Invites
posted 08/06/04 at 06:24 AM
I made these for a friend who is getting married this fall. The reddish cardstock is Paprika from Archivers (used lots of 5 free cardstock coupons!), the ivory cardstock is from a bulk pack from an office supply store. I stamped the maple leaf on the invite with embossing ink then put gold powder on and heat embossed. The stamp is from Walmart. The font is SnellRoundhand.
It was a fun project but stamping and embossing 160 of these was quite a job!
Thanks for looking!
