What a great collection of different backgrounds!
These are lovely. I can see I have to look up more techniques. Wax paper bg? Marble technique? I'm saving these. TFS. Daria
All your things look great
For the polished stone method:
Use glossy cardstock. Wet a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol. Drop a couple drop from a reinker onto the cotton ball. Smush the cotton ball all over the paper. Do the same with another color on a new cotton ball. Then repeat with a metallic color. The one in the picture was done with purple first, then blue, then silver.
Tell me about the polished stone method. Love that! Also, cool idea on putting rubber bands on the brayer.

The snowman card useds the marble technique for the background. The flowers use the polished stone method for the background. The zebra card used wax paper on the background. To make the background on the cake card, we put rubber bands on the acrylic brayer. The treat box is made from a door hanger.
