I think he'll be touched that you cared enough to make him the layout. It won't matter what it says. You could offer to scrap some of his photos and make him a memory book.

I like little possum idea about expanding the quote.

I think this is just beautiful and so sweet of you! I am sure he will love it.

Thank you, both. That's a good idea to extend the quote.

Peta, I love the song playing on your blog - now I like the layout you did with it even more

Your layout is sincere and lovely and I am sure it will be received with much gratitude and understanding of the love that went into creating it.

I love the quote and think it works fine with the photo.....

but if you REALLY wanted to play with it a little...

you could expand on it... "A woman's greatest work is seen in the words and actions of her children, her grand children, her great grandchildren and all those who come after her and carry a little piece of her with them - her work will live on forever"....

but maybe that's to long?

Anyways - I think its beautiful and he will be very touched by what you have created for him! {{HUG}}

Honest opinions, please? My step-dad's mom passed away over the weekend and her memorial is today. I wanted to make something for him, but this is the only picture I had of his mom (with my daughter). The quote says “A woman's greatest work is seen in the words and actions of her children”
Is the quote appropriate with the picture? I just think it doesn't quite fit since it's not a picture of her with one of her kids (though she did consider my kids her great-grand kids, I was never like a granddaughter since my stepdad married my mom after I was grown & gone from home). Does it make sense that I thought it was a nice quote for *her* and isn't supposed to relate to the picture?
