I've been collecting antique salt shakers for a while and wanted to incorporate them into my craft room. Now they are holding some of my favorite ultrafine glitters. Much prettier than the plastic bottles. :) I love how some of the holes in the shakers are tiny little stars. If you find some with larger holes, you can use a chunkier glitter. This would also work with sugar shakers. I was planning to sell these in my Etsy shop but now I'm not sure I will, ha. Thanks for looking!

I saw your idea over a year ago and was so struck by it, I have mentioned it to a couple of friends and never forgot it. At the time I didn't have a place to 'collect' or display such a fun idea. Now, almost two years later, I am moving and my craft room has a display case --- what a perfect place to showcase your idea. Thanks so much for sharing!!
