“Eat my bubbles” is a phrase I have heard at many of my son's swim meets. I think it sounds cute. I love these new Jewel Droplets from Carolee's Creations – they remind me of water droplets. So happy to finally get some of the millions of swimming photos I have scrapped, as well. Supplies: all patterned papers, ribbon, white jewel droplets – Carolee's Creations; blue plastic letters – Heidi Swapp; black letters – MAMBI; journaling font – MS Arial. Journaling reads, “This was such an exciting swim meet! Held at the Smithfield YMCA, it was between Poquoson High School and two other schools. The team swam hard, and won its first meet of the season. To top off all the excitement, Matthew swam the most difficult event for PHS – the 500! That’s 10 full laps, up and down the pool, so long that teammates hold the lap numbers under the water for the swimmers to see. I stood by the side of the pool and watched him go up and back, yelling words of encouragement every time I was close enough for him to hear. Matthew didn’t even appear to be tired when the event was over, and started an 11th lap by mistake. Matthew has grown from an elementary school child, afraid of the water, into a strong competitive swimmer, and I could not be more proud of him. Way to go, Matthew!!” Thanks for looking!!
