What a great idea for a title page! Love the slice of life idea! I don't do digi, but I plan to use this for a paper layout! Hope you don't mind an outright scraplift!
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Gennifer! I will try that way. Seems like I am making it harder than it needs to be
Thanks for all the nice comments!

I can't find the template to download. Am I missing something or is it gone?

The template is on the blog post dated 12.31.2008.

Can you tell me how to get the text inside the journaling mat?

I'm still pretty new, too. What I did was add a new layer above the one that is the journaling mat paper (parchment-looking one), which is above the hot pink one she has. I put my text there, and then rotated the layer for the ones that needed to be oriented a different way.
I have no idea if that is the easiest way, but it works.
I love your interpretation of the template. Can you tell me how to get the text inside the journaling mat? I downloaded the template, but am still a major digi-newbie. I have been trying to figure it out -but it escapes me...
love the swirls

Journaling reads: My life is passing me by. I'm not really sure why, or how, but time definitely seems to be going much faster than it used to. So, this year I thought I'd try something new. My new… let's say pact. (We won't use the “r" word, since it is so over-used, particularly in January.) My… pact for the year 2009 is to take a picture every day of the year. It may not be particularly exciting, it absolutely won't be anything new or ground-breaking. But, if… I mean WHEN I succeed, I should have a pretty detailed record of how our lives progressed, all the day-to-day stuff that seems to be overlooked, or forgotten, or sometimes just ignored. Maybe, after this is done, no one will care. Heck, maybe I won't even care, but I think I will. I think this picture-a-day will help us to remember all the little things that happened to us. Because a lot can go on in 525,600 minutes, or in 8,760 hours, or in 52 weeks. A year. One year in our crazy life.
