mmmmmk! It's Shellina from your daily challenge forum! I love this- especially the color on the four leaf clover! What a precious idea. Furthermore- the cartoony elements have always made me nervous- how to make them fit in? But you did it so well. Inspiring, love. :)

I love these photos of my little guy. I took them on St. Patrick's Day in 2008. It seems like yesterday. *sigh*

To edit a photo to show selective coloring (I'm using CS4), I duplicated my image and changed the top layer to black and white. I then zoomed in on the shamrock and used my eraser to erase the b/w version to reveal the color.

For the collage design, I took a Quick Collage from Scapbook Etc., and cut each section apart with my marquee tool so that each was on it's own layer. I then clipped a photo or paper to each one. For my doodled frame (in my March Whimsy kit), I just adjusted the sides in to fit the narrow photo.
