Project - Themed Projects : I Wish by mjfern posted 04/01/09 Galleries: Scrapbooking
Like my scrapping style, my stamping style is pretty simple. In this layout, I wanted to show how you can use your stamps to embellish your layout in ways that are fast and easy. Here are some stamping tips based on techniques I used on my layout:

Use border stamps (I used a set from Technique Tuesday's "Hanging by a Thread") to create a stamped border around your picture on a photo mat.

Use stamps to dress up your letter stickers. I used the same one I used to embellish the photo mat.

Use a border to create the stem of a flower like I did on the bottom right corner of the layout.

Use a stamped image to dot your letters in your title. I used the flower stamp from Heidi Grace's "Reagan's Closet" collection to dot the letter i's in my title.

To make stamping elements pop off the page, stamp on a light colored piece of cardstock and then cut out that image before adhering to my layout.

Use pop dots to give your stamped elements added dimension.

Use one color ink for a cohesive look on your page.

Thanks for looking! -Joy
|
