Wanted to say thanks for being the inspiration for my card for Anne's Praise and Inspiration card! I love how you incorporated a wonderful raven in this clean and simple card.

You don't even need those embellishments on this card. The colors are so vibrant. You have a powerful image, and the inking has depth and interest--love those blackened edges. Beautiful job with this challenge.

Project - SOF10 Clean and Simple Challenge - Happy Halloween by **Kat** posted 10/02/10 at 04:15 PM Galleries: Stamping, Cardmaking I usually throw piles of stuff onto LO's and cards, so sticking to clean and simple was definitely a challenge for me. I used gloss paper, mustard and pumpkin stazon applied with a Tim Holtz blending tool (the one with the felt applicators) and then heat set. Large stamp is by Memory Box, the happy halloween stamp is Hero Arts. This is the first time I've used glossy paper and I really like the way it looks. |
