Project - Themed Projects : Election '08 Mini Album by purkage posted 06/01/09 Galleries: Scrapbooking <p>i save everything (and i mean everything!) and was excited to find this maya road mini album because it has pockets to put things in. so helpful!!! last year during the election i collected quite a few stickers, buttons, papers, etc and took a lot of photos. living in chicago i came across a lot different obama signs and my iphone camera came in handy for snapping random things i spotted. i also took photos of newspapers and the tv to save. all of that went into this election mini along with quite a bit of journaling. i felt that this was such and important election and i had a lot of strong emotions that i wanted to record for the future. </p> <p>the album comes with a few chipboard pages but i also added a few of my own, including some of smaller photos with holes punched in them. some photos i printed at the same size and glue them back to back, but others i just included one photo and backed it with patterned paper. i just wanted the album to be bright and fun :)</p> <p>supplies:<br /> cosmo cricket patterned paper<br /> sassafrass lass patterned paper<br /> american crafts cardstock, stickers, rubons, pen, stamps<br /> making memories slice, design card, stickers<br /> fiskars border punch, star punch, corner rounder</p> |
