This is an amazing layout. I'm loving the wood alphas!
jill, the photo says it all! where would we be without our families?
i love what you did with those letters!!!
Yup, Z is the real winner with the family she has! :-)
I love Buca di Beppo! yum! Your title looks awesome - totally love the effect of the stamped wood letters.
It's so hard to watch the kids not be successful at everything, but you are such a good mom and I SUPER love this!
This looks great!

Project - Consolation Prize by Fevvers posted 01/30/12 Galleries: Scrapbooking, Stamping Recently, my daughter faced a disappointing defeat in an academic competition, but we helped her to move past it by surrounding her with love, with laughter, and some good ol' comfort food from her favorite Italian restaurant. I had so much fun creating the title. I got a Cameo a few weeks ago, and I am madly in love with it. I cut “Consolation” with my Cameo and paired it with Pink Paislee wood chip letters, which I stamped over for a bold and funky effect using the “Ephemera” stamps from 7Gypsies. I experimented first, using solvent ink (which allows the stamped image to remain clear) and then dye ink (which allows the image to blend into the wood). There was something about the odd effect of the dye ink over the wood that really caught my eye. I used a lot of the new Fancy Pants Love Story collection here. It's on my paper “love list” lately. I'm drawn to the colors, the designs, and the smoothness of the paper, as well as how it works alongside other patterns and products. Oh, and the B-sides are just as lovely as the A-sides! Thanks for looking! |
