I created this layout for an October Afternoon blog challenge: the 30-minute layout. Most of my layouts take me longer than that to complete, but from time to time, a 30-minute challenge is just what I need to get myself out of my head (always overthinking…) and give myself a creative push.

The journaling is in the form of a thank-you note from my daughter to Santa. She scored big on the t-shirt front this Christmas, and now has quite the collection of shirts to represent her current “loves” – Dean from Supernatural, Cameron from Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Tyrion from Game of Thrones.
