This lo is of my son on Santa's lap his first Christmas and of my grandson with Santa his first Christmas. My son is Caleb's uncle. I love both of these pictures. You probably can't tell here; but I added cotton to Santa's face for dimension. It looks good irl. I love the look on their faces. I used red cs. Using my Whale of a Punch, I cut circles from yellow, green, and blue scraps for Christmas balls. I cut small rectangles for the tops and a white gel pen to highlight. The letters are Stickopotamus. I made the Christmas trees using scraps of Basill cs, 2 shades of green, and 1 shade of brown. More scraps for the stars and a small yellow jewel for the center of each star. Punched out 2 sizes of circles from red scraps to decorate the trees. Packages are cut from scraps, too. Red and green floss for the bows. Santa Claus is from MeriMeri Accents. Journaling is on Basill white cs and the fonts are Christmas Card and Christmas Ornament. Journaling on page 1 says, “The personification of the spirit of Christmas. A fat, jolly old man with a white beard and a red suit who hands out gifts at Christmas. That is above the Santa. I found the candy cane and packages at M. Journaling below says, ” You are almost 11 months old. Your first Christmas. Every year I look at this picture of with Santa Claus. It brings back memories for me. You had no idea how much joy Santa Claus would bring you each year. I can see wonder and amazement in your eyes. John Michael, December, 1972.“ Journaling on page 2 says, ” Your first Christmas. You are almost 11 months old. I love this picture of you. It reminds me of a picture I have of my little boy, your Uncle John. You have the same look of wonder and amazement in your eyes as he did." I'd love to hear any comments. tfl.
