Project - Wave on Wave by bunnylady posted 09/02/12 at 12:29 PM Galleries: Scrapbooking, Photography Song by Pat Green. My husband is a disabled veteran and only recently (after two knee replacements and two follow-up surgeries) has been able to get back out into the surf. I met him after he was injured, so I never got to see him surf before. It was really neat to see him just staring at the waves, and then out there floating and finally standing up on his board. :) Kraft cardstock (from Archiver's, don't know the brand), the blue wave and red/orange hibiscus tape are Heidi Swapp from about seven or eight years ago. The stamp is also Heidi Swapp from the same time period. I adore that stamp, it has three surfboards on the other side, I plan to use that stamp on another surfing layout. The middle picture of the boards is on pop dots so that's why the text beneath it looks faded…it's hard to scan a non-flat layout, lol! The font for “wave on wave” is Braggadocio and for the text beneath it (lyrics from the song) it's Consolas. Pictures are Instagram, cropped to 4x4 and printed at home on the Epson Picturemate. Mine is about eight years old, still works, and I love it! |
