Challenge - Digital Challenges :Scraplift Challenge - Marathon Man
by Sande Krieger
This weeks challenge is to find a layout, advertisement or other art that inspires you and scraplift it. I chose two layouts that were in the gallery recently: "Just Me" by Diana Martin and "I Loves it" by Kelli Crowe. Both layouts have white backgrounds with little pops of color, something that really appeals to me. I also liked the way Kelli outlined her little thought bubbles and how Diana carried the outlines on outside the colored rectangles and squares.
So pick something to inspire you and then turn it into your own work of art!
The kits that I used for this layout are:
Patterned paper - Limoncello, Party On, French Kiss & Garment District
Brushes (used on grey & yellow papers) - French Laundry Art Edges 1
Stitching - French Kiss & BAsic Stitches No. 1
Font - Modern Type (AL)
Thought Bubble - I was Thinking -
Scalloped Edge & Trip - Beautiful Ending
Heart - my own design
