Challenge - Digital Challenges : Sweet Little Puppies **journal in or around a shape** by hyperstarre posted 11/04/09 Galleries: Scrapbooking Hey there digi peas! This week's challenge is to journal in or around a text. This is super easy using text on a path in Photoshop CS or higher (that's what I used to journal around the half-circle) - just create a path using the pen or shape tool, then click on the text tool, move your cursor close to the shape, and the text on a path cursor will show up. You can also use "warp text" (the icon looks like a T on top of an arced arrow, on the top toolbar when you select the text tool). If you have PSE or PS 7 or older, you can also use a purchased text path like this one! You could also use something like this, with the journaling already done! I started off with a Simple Starts template by Jen Martakis - I liked that it had a half-circle shape in it. I manipulated it to fit my photos and accents. These photos are from a picnic that my friends and I had - one of them brought her dogs and they were soooo cute! We loved playing with them. Have fun! |
