Challenge - Digital Challenges : Wave chasers - create an art effect

Hi Peas!  This weeks Challenge is a goody!  It is to create an art effect with filters (ink, paint, pencil, watercolour etc).  Let me explain... you can change the look of something in your layout so that it takes on a  bit more of an arty look.  It could simply mean to add a  texture over the top, or to go all out and play with your artistic filters in Photoshop...I chose to use the art effect   "cut out" on my photo as well as a  texture over the photo.  To find your filters go to "Filter > Artistic> Cutout".  

The texture was simply a  playing card from Sande Kreiger's Paris Flea Market Kit.  I changed the blending mode to soft light.

It makes for a pretty interesting layout different to my normal stuff.  I cant wait to see what cool effects you all come up with.
