Challenge - Digital Challenges : Using Brushes by Chelsea Parsons posted 10/12/07 Galleries: Scrapbooking Brushes brushes brushes... I love them!!! So the challenge this week is to create a page with BRUSHES. With so many digital kits you will find abr. brushes files. I save all brushes seperately in a folder and then once in Photoshop I load the new brushes... You can read a tutorial on how to load brushes in the Digital Tutorials section here at Two Peas.
1. Seeing as it's Halloween time I chose this cool photo of my daughter Bethan taken last Halloween. I placed it over a piece of my own paper and then the brush fun began...
2. I chose two brushes from the Sweet Pea brushes Kit (a flower one and a swirly one) and stamped away in black to spread out the blackness of the photo.
3. Next I selected the eraser tool and selected my photo layer and using a label brush from the Label Maker Kit I created some lines for my text.
5. A bat from Jennifer Pebbles new Simply Spooky Halloween Brushes and a few brushes from Rhonna Farrer's new 2Peas Celebration Mini Kit to finish (the 1,2,3,4 inches brush, and a circle around the 4 and October 2006) and I love it! |
