Challenge - Digital Challenges : Pin Light by Chelsea Parsons posted 07/18/07 Galleries: Scrapbooking I love challenges where you get to press a button and see the colors change on a layer! Firstly I thought "what the heck is Pin Light?".... If you go to your layers folder in the bottom right hand corner of your screen (see photo) when in Photoshop you can set the BLENDING MODE to PIN LIGHT. I love to randomly click on all of these modes just to see what it does to my photos and pages. The Pin Light mode replaces the color based on the percentage of light or dark pixels.... some photos change, some don't. It's a fun tool for adding special effects to an image.
I started with 3 different papers (from the Cardstock pack, Maddie Paper Pack and Color My World Kit) and you can see a photo of these with my photo all before I have mucked around with Pin Lighting them! It's a pretty simple layout really, just placing down papers and pressing the Pin Light mode! Even when I added the cool "Think about it tags" I clicked the Pin Light mode.... The tags have a cool border around them from the "BorderLine Digi Kit". Some people symbols cut and pasted from the "Boys and Girls Journalling Spaces Kit" and some Fragile Font and that was it....and press that Pin Light mode a few more times!
I recently had a two week vacation without my husband and 3 children and that's what this LO is about.... being a bit silly, although I'm still silly with them! And my husband told me to add that I missed him terribly and he is a fantastic husband... possibly the best that there is! |
