All of your work is just right. This class has helped so much with some of my" taken back in the 80"s" photos also. I would love a class that deals with what to do to make pre digital photographs look their best. You are so kind to share your talents!
Shimelle, I love your challenges! So glad that Two Peas has added this! See you over at Journal Your Christmas... :)
Such a pretty page - always love anything in those colours. Hopefully this sketch is just what I need to get on with my current stack of photos.
Challenge - Sketch Challenge :: 2 4x6 Photos and 3 Circles
This week's challenge is a sketch for you to try! Grab two 4x6 photos to join in, then pair them with three circles of embellishment on your page.
You can use anything circular in the spots on the sketch. I made layered circles by starting with doily rub-ons from Hambly (there are also doily rub-ons in different colours and sizes from Studio Calico), then layered various punched circles and scallop circles, plus chipboard circles and buttons. For the circle that goes off the edge of the page, I cut right through the button with a pair of scissors, then used some sand paper to even it out and that way it's flush with the edge of the page and go into a page protector easily.
If your photos are portraits instead of landscapes, just turn the sketch on its side and or turn just the photos and journaling box in the middle of the sketch.
To enter this week's challenge for a chance to win a Two Peas prize, be sure to check the box in step 4 of the upload process! The winner will be announced on the Garden Girl blog [twopeasinabucket.com] next Friday, 11/5/2010. I can't wait to see what you create from this starting point! On your marks, get ready… scrap!
