Challenge - Journaling Challenge: Tell the story of___________

The journaling challenge this week is to tell the story of an item.

Maybe it was the story of a Christmas ornament you just put away, or of a tea cup you got from a trip, your child's lovie or your Grandmother's quilt.

I selected our crib. And boy was I surprised at how much I had to say about it! I picked our crib because it has served all 3 of our children and moved to 5 houses!! By telling the story of the crib - I really told a lot of other stories about moves, the kids ages when we moved and things about them when they were babies.

It may seem odd to focus on an object in your journaling - but by telling about the object, you really tell about the people that made that object special to you.

**I had to remake this LO because my sewing machine ate the top half of the page! I originally used Jellybean's corrugated letters. I am leaving them on the supply list because they sure looked good on the LO.

You have through Thursday, January 27th, to upload to the challenge for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Two Peas store! Don't forget to check the challenge checkbox to ensure your layout displays below this challenge on Step 4. The winner will be announced next Friday on the Garden Girl blog [twopeasinabucket.com]. Have fun!

Beautiful page. Love the design and how you fit in so much journaling. Funny that you choose this topic. I was just thinking the other day that I should do a layout about my baby's crib. It's been a bed to 5 little ones, starting with my baby brother. Great challenge.

Wow! Love your journaling. Nobody tells you about "poopy" moments and "no sleeping" moments before you have kids! Good thing we love them so much or we would lose our marbles. Beautiful design, too.
