Challenge - am chaos // in review weekly challenge by gluestickgirl posted 11/11/11 Galleries: Scrapbooking hi peas! this week i'm challenging you to scrap using a timeline. you could do times, like i did, for an event or a day. you could use dates for an overview of a vacation, a months to recap a year. my layout features a review of the events of our mornings when my oldest son is on safety patrol. there's a whole lot of coming and going, and a timeline is the perfect way to sum it all up. i created my timeline using my silhouette cameo - i used the text tool to type out a series of times and arranged them on top of one another. rather than using the numbers that i cut, i opted to use the negative as a border along the side of my layout. i matted each of my photos with a different color and then layered that color under the time it occurred on the timeline. my journaling is just a typed account of what's happening at each time. I can't wait to see your take on this challenge - when you share your project in the gallery, be sure to check the challenge checkbox when you upload.
