Fabulous work as usual. I love all your cards shown here on 2 peas :)
Cute card! I love how you stamped on patterned paper - the polka dot whale is adorable. Excited to try your sketch. Thanks!
I love your card, Kimber. I love that paper pad (I've had my eye on that!) and how the waves in the sentiment banner reflect the waves under the whale. So cute!
Challenge - Saturday Card Sketch Challenge with Kimber 5.5.12
Galleries: Stamping, Cardmaking
This card all started with the Pink Paislee pattern paper. I thought the papers were soft enough for a baby card without using soft pastels. I then mixed a little bit of Lily Bee pattern paper, Pebbles stamp and American Crafts button along with some Jillibean baker's twine.
I stamped the whale image on the ledger pattern paper and then again on the blue/grey dot paper. I cut out the stamped blue/grey whale and pop dotted it on the ledger paper. This added a lot of dimension.
I hope you will use the sketch to create a card this week and load it into the gallery. Remember to check the Saturday Card Sketch box in the challenges so I can see what you created! You'll be entered to win a $5 gift certificate to the Two Peas store when you do. You have through next Friday at 11:59 pm CST to enter your card; the winner will be announced on the Two Peas blog [twopeasinabucket.typepad.com] next Saturday.
