Sophikins, my card opens at the top so I can wrap the string all the way around the front of the card.
How did you do the twine at the top? Is this only the front piece that was then mounted on a card? Obviously the twine can't be wrapped around the whole card.
Great card Kimber. I'm hoping to start joining in on these sketch challenges. This sketch looks fun!
Terrific sketch! I love your card although probably not as much as your lab. LOL. At least he let you take a picture of it first.
I love your sample! So glad you got nice pictures before it "disappeared". I like how the butterfly is stamped on the base and as an embellishment. Pretty! Thanks for the sketch, and Happy Card Making Day!
Nah, I can't stay mad at him. He's too cute. :)
Oh... most of the stuff attached is the really good priced chalk ink from Prima. I thought, hey if you are looking at the chalk ink you may want to know what colors they come in because they are such a good price. That's all.
Challenge - Saturday Card Sketch Challenge with Kimber 10.6.12
Galleries: Stamping, Cardmaking
I was digging through my stamps that I have purchased from Two Peas and came across this beautiful one. I couldn't believe I hadn't used it yet! I stamped the image directly on the card front and then stamped it on a scrap of cardstock and cut it out. I used some chalk ink to color the cut out butterfly along with a little copic marker for the body. I love this card.
I hope you will use the sketch to create a card this week and load it into the gallery. Remember to check the Saturday Card Sketch box in the challenges so I can see what you created! You'll be entered to win a $5 gift certificate to the Two Peas store when you do. You have through next Friday at 11:59 pm CST to enter your card; the winner will be announced on the Two Peas blog next Saturday.
