I am going to completely confess right now and say that I made the layout first and THEN made the sketch. So then why use a sketch? I keep sketches on hand to inspire me to create layouts the same way everyone else does. Whether or not I end up in the exact same place as the original sketch, though, depends on my mood that day.

Use part of a sketch or the entire sketch to create your own layout. Turn the sketch on its side, invert it. Stretch a sketch from an 8 1/2 X 11“ sketch to a 12x12” sketch just by making the components larger and designing within a square.

This layout combines stamping, trendy shapes, and bold colors. Just by switching the color scheme you can use the same sketch over and over again.

Challenge: Use this sketch as inspiration to create your own. Make sure to upload your finished layout to the correct challenge gallery by checking this challenge's box when uploading your project.
