Video - Kristina's Picks 10.29.10 (trick or treating.....)
This is my last Halloween layout for now…. I promise next week there will be something other than Halloween.
There are a lot of great little patterns in this Halloween collection from Echo Park [twopeasinabucket.com]. I particularly love the argyle patterns. I think what I like most about this collection is that though it uses the traditional black and orange, with green and purple thrown in, the colors are not super bright. They are a bit faded. I find it so much easier to use than a really really bright pattern. There are not any solids in this collection, though, but there are some really nice smaller print patterns that can be used as a solid. There is also a sheet of borders [twopeasinabucket.com] and a sheet of blocks [twopeasinabucket.com] which could be used as a whole sheet and just journal in each spot or cut up and used in many different projects.
The only other parts to this collection are the stickers. Echo Park does a really nice job of keeping it simple and just making a really good paper collection with a few sticker sheets and that's it. It's nice then to be able to coordinate with all of your other favorite pieces if you want to. I think it's going to be great to grab the cute orange argyle paper and use it with older Halloween products I have in my stash.
The two sticker sheets include one sheet of all alphabets [twopeasinabucket.com], in 2 different colors and 4 different colors. And one sheet of all elements and icons [twopeasinabucket.com]. I loved the cloud, moon and bat combo sticker, as well as the tree and house. Some great elements to grab and use on a layout, project, mini book….
