Video - From Start to Finish Video: You and Me by Nichol Magouirk posted 03/16/11 Galleries: Scrapbooking I don't often do one photo layouts but every once in awhile when a photo really speaks to me and can stand alone I create a one-photo layout. Today's layout features a photo of my husband and I, one of our favorites. I cropped the photo to 6x6 and added a bold faux chipboard title (see November 2010 Making the Most of Die Cutting Machines HERE [twopeasinabucket.com]), punched circles with little embellishments placed in the center of each and plenty of journaling printed directly on kraft cardstock and placed prominently at the top of the page. CHALLENGE: Scrap a one-photo layout using a photo that can "stand alone". Watch video below | You and Me |

Such a BEAUTIFUL page, Nichol! I love the grid of circles in the corner that would typically look very modern, but is softened by the papers and extra details you added. Seriously, so so pretty!

I love the grid idea - it allows you to use lots of embellishments but the layout still looks clean and uncluttered. Beautifully done!! Thanks for sharing all of your wonderful creativity!

I noticed that you were able to reposition your paper, etc. and was wondering what type of adhesive you use and have you ever had a problem with items falling off after being put in a page protector.

Nichol, you know I LOVE these videos. Your work is so amazing. I am NOT a pastel gal, so I "resisted" this one - but finally caved today while I wait for TODAY'S video! And I just have to say I LOVE THIS LO - pink and all! THANKS AGAIN for all your great ideas!!! I really appreciate your craft.

I use Tombow mono adhesive. I haven't had any issues with things falling off with this particular adhesive.
