A really cool page! TFS
I love this layout!! The way the title was done is PERFECT!!
The stamped borders have also given me a whole new way to use my card stamps! I always wondered what I could do with those "word" stamps that were too small for titles!
I have not done a layout in quite some time, but I joined Studio AE in January because I just loved the Adored stamp set that was available for that month. Usually I make cards. Thank goodness you are doing this series, and I am getting some ideas for using the latest sets that I have received.
I have a question, though. Do you usually choose full sheets of paper when you begin a layout, or do you just do that for the videos? I am curious about that part of your process. How do you use your scraps?
I am in love with your stamped border strip on this layout! Absolutely awesome! This series (along with SS on the 1st of the month) is spot on. I know every week I will gain so much inspiration (and hopefully, confidence in my own scrapbooking) and want to go running back to my craft room to create. I can honestly say there's not one Nichol Magouirk layout out there that I don't like. They're all superior!
I really enjoy every single one of your pages! I love this series you are doing.
totally Awesome Nichol! Even though I don't have a boy I am still inspired by watching you work! TFS!

For this week's From Start to Finish layout, I wanted to showcase a border of 2x3“ photos with 12” strips of patterned paper.
Because I didn't have any 12“ photo paper on hand, I decided to improvise and piece together two sections of 2x3” photos. Where they meet is barely noticeable and it's a great way to “make do” with what you have!
I ended up having more than six 2x3" photos, so I printed a couple of extras and trimmed them, leaving a white border.
I wanted to focus on the It's in the Details April Studio AE stamp set that's in the 2Peas store now. I've used pieces from the April stamp set HERE [twopeasinabucket.com] and HERE [twopeasinabucket.com] and I wanted to show yet again just how versatile it is. I absolutely love the phrases in this set and how the pieces mix and match to create the perfect accents/titles/embellishments for your pages.
In addition to It's in the Details Stamp Set I also incorporated some of the Awesome Days of Summer Stamp Set to really tie everything together.
Colorful stamping using an array of stamp inks gives the stamping that finished look that exactly matches the rest of my page. I used Jenni Bowlin Cough Syrup & Chicken Feed and Stampin' Up Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze and Crushed Curry inks.
