Love how you incorporate the stamping in the journaling, I have alot of various word stamps...I'll have to give this a whirl! TFS!
Absolutely adorable! Love that you tackled an extended family non-holiday event. We all have those! :-) And the hearts on the canvas are precious!! What a great idea. Loved that you showed us, too, how you integrate the stamps with the computer journaling. As usual, you rock the Wednesday! Fab LO - thanks!!
I love how many photos you were able to incorporate on your two page layout and yet it doesn't feel cluttered at all! I think after watching you do your layouts week after week I may possibly be able to put pattern papers together without being so scared of it! You do it so well but I'm trying to pick up on your pointers. Like, take one pattern that has all the colors in it to pull it all together. I'll have to give it a go! Beautiful layout and I love the canvas hearts addition!

Video - From Start to Finish Video: Celebrate U. by Nichol Magouirk posted 06/15/11 Galleries: Scrapbooking, Stamping I can't seem to get enough of 2-page layouts here the last few weeks. I wanted to scrapbook a baby shower we had for my sister in law last fall and I had lots of photos to use so this is another photo-heavy layout but I made sure to add lots of handmade touches to “jazz” it up a little. I used the Tim Holtz Hearts dies to die cut Stickyback canvas, Dear Lizzy Canvas and felt hearts. I added some stamping and inking to the stickyback canvas hearts for that homemade feel. I added buttons randomly to some of the hearts for dimension. A die cut layered title and journaling with stamped words added color and texture without bulk. CHALLENGE: Use a heart accent on your next layout. *This challenge runs from June 15, 2011 - June 22, 2011.* Watch video below | From Start to Finish June 15, 2011 |
