What a great video. I loved all the tips especially using the rounded pieces and trimming for that extra something! Great job!
I love the clear backing sheet - brilliant!!!! Love the layout. I couldn't tell if that was 3 of your children or one child until I heard you explain at the end. Great idea for a layout!

Video - Video Memory Keeping Monday: Ages 2-4-6 by NancyDamiano posted 02/13/12 Galleries: Scrapbooking Welcome to this week's episode of Memory Keeping Mondays! Today, I made a page about my son's favorites at ages 2, 4 and 6. I've documented what he: ate, played, loved, obsessed over, watched, vacationed, and who his BFF was at each stage. I loved seeing how in just two short years, his favorites “grew up” so quickly! Documenting life + stages are my favorite types of layout. I think next time I will do one for the stages of my married life – dating, newlyweds and the present. To add a little something special to the page, I created shadowboxes filled with buttons to represent each age. The numbers and journaling spots were created using a Silhouette. To learn how to make them step-by-step, watch the video below. If you have any suggestions for what you like to see in a future episode of Memory Keeping Mondays, please leave me a comment and I'll see what I can do. Thanks for joining me! For the challenge: Create a page comparing different stages in your life. I'd love to see how many different themes you can come up with. |
