Fabulous work, love this card and your video lesson :)
Julie, I've been wanting to make rosettes and this video was so helpful. I do have one question -- how do you determine how long a piece of paper to use for your rosette? It appeared for these smaller card rosettes, you used a 12 in. length of paper. For larger ones is there some kind of formula you use to figure out how long to make the paper, or do you just experiment?
Nice use of the glue gun to fill/glue the ce.terse of the rosettes too. Thanks for the great video.
This was so helpful, and what a cute project, Julie! Thanks very much. I loved the glue gun with the rosettes and of course once I saw how you cut the crepe paper up I felt like a big dope for not getting it right away!!
Really enjoyed this week's tutorial. Lots to learn. Thanks Julie!
Love the rosettes :) I especially love the lace hanging off the edge, cute idea.

In this Finally Friday video tutorial, I'll show you how to make your own rosette hanging lanterns using some fun new supplies from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection. My challenge for you is to use a rosette on one of your own projects. |
