Gosh, can't tell you how much I LOVE your design!!!!!! FANTASTIC!!! The "jars of life" idea is brilliant...and adorable :)
Hi!! Thanks so much for taking the time to write!
Angelo, Thanks for watching my other videos...I really appreciate your enthusiasm! Yes, I guess I do use a lot of pink and green! I spent a lot of years without a girl to scrap so now I'm taking full advantage. I still love some red though!
I thoroughly enjoyed your video!! I loved the way you "filled" each jar with glitter and made tags for the colors accordingly. I loved the videos so much that I even checked out your other videos with Two Peas. I watched the "Products you love every which way" series and I love the way you work, you mix so many elements and make the page look so pretty at the end of it. Oh by the way, seeing your videos, looks like you love the color pink and lime. Or is it just because you scrap you daughter? ;)
OMG!! Your layout is too cute!! I LOVED the way you filled the jars and the way you used them for journaling!! THANKS also for sharing the extra video with making the card~~such a fun idea!! THANKS AGAIN for sharing and have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)
:) Thanks! She is.....she likes to swish her hair and say "my hair is getting soooo long!" :) 3 going on 13
ps - she is getting to be so grown-up!!

Video - Memory Keeping Monday: "Jar of Life" by Shannon Tidwell posted 03/05/12 Galleries: Scrapbooking, Stamping, Cardmaking Hi! I'm excited that it's my turn again for Memory Keeping Monday. For March one of our themes is STAMPS and since I had a nice new stamp to play with I thought I'd share what I came up with. I'm not usually a big stamper. I find all the different inks and such a bit confusing at times. For the most part I stick with the basics. I like Staz On ink because it doesn't smear…but since I don't stamp much my ink pad has pretty much dried up. Instead of going out and buying another in a crunch I decided to see what else I had that would be fun to stamp with. Luckily my acrylic paints hadn't dried up! I stamped the images on my layout with a grey paint, then filled each with a clear varnish, and then sprinkled in the glitter. You can see the full how-to in my video. I had so much fun I had to split it into two videos. In the second video you'll find a few extra jars filled with goodies as well as a card made with one of those jars. So here are my videos… We all love new products…I love products that are timeless, too. Like glitter. The glitter I used in my layout is a couple years old. But guess what, there are even more choices now! So I will be linking up all the cool things I can find that are like what I used from my stash. |
