Shannon, I just love to watch you work! Your layouts are so fresh and totally outside of my scrapping comfort zone! You inspire me to try new things! Thank you. Only thing I wished you had done on this video is include the music while showing us... I love that part of your videos too.
I love so much in these two layouts! First, I love the stitching. Although I don't have access to my sewing machine, I am going to do that right now with one page in my art journal using my black Zig pen. And because the second thing I love is your painted circles (and whatever they are in the first layout) I am going to create a new page in my art journal doing exactly that, and I'm going to Zig those circles too. Last of all, I love the title "Who Knew Cold Would Be So Cute" and I have to now scrap some snow photos of my DGD just so I can use that title! Wow did you light a fire on my mojo!
Shannon, I LOVE how you always think outside the box. Your layouts always make me want to stretch creatively. Thanks for that! :)
Love how you used the sweater for inspiration. The LOs background really look like the sweater. Too cool!!!
Video - Memory Keeping Monday: " Our Girly Girl"
by Shannon Tidwell
Hi! Welcome to Memory Keeping Monday! This month one of our our ‘themes’ is Florals. I started out thinking about floral papers…but hit a wall. So I turned to Pinterest and came back with some fun inspiration in the form of a sweater (which I wish was still available!)
This week I actually have two layouts for you. I know, call me crazy! I hope you enjoy the video and watching the two layouts come together.
As always there is a challenge associated with the Memory Keeping Monday Video…your challenge this week is to use Florals on your layout…but not in the form of floral patterned paper. I know, I like to be tricky!
I can't wait to see what you make!
