Someone on YOUTUBE asked how to make good looking pinwheels with only one sided card stock/patterned paper-- and i just thought I would post the solution I came up with on here-- I covered the un patterned side of my paper with washi tape-- it made the paper thicker and added another pattern!

Thanks for the great tutorial shimelle!

Galleries: Scrapbooking

This week Glitter Girl works with just patterned paper, not premade embellishments - something currently being discussed here [twopeasinabucket.com] on the General Scrapping message board at Two Peas. Her adventure takes a look at some new patterned papers available in the store, plus the creation of two layouts: one creating embellishments similar to what you might find in a premade pack and one layering paper scraps to create a page with enough colour and pattern that no other embellishment is needed.

Come along for the adventure, won't you?

This week, Glitter Girl challenges you to try embellishing your layout with just paper - nothing premade, then share the results in the gallery! You can adapt these ideas to your own style and supplies, of course. Don't forget to tick the box for the Glitter Girl challenge in step four of the uploading process.

Join us every Wednesday for the Adventures of Glitter Girl, helping the world one crafting dilemma at a time. Each week Glitter Girl joins Two Peas via video to solve a problem posted on the message boards. Don't miss out as she shares project tutorials, product comparisons and technique tips throughout the year.
