I would have left it as it was, but when I saw your additions I would have added them as well. Ha I'll just copy what you do.
I probably would have left it, but I really like that you added the pink tab, maybe I need to push my embelishing a bit. Thanks for the video!
I like both versions, but the pink tab took it to a new level. I'd add something on the left above the twine to balance the sentiment on right below twine... just not sure what! A bicycle wood veneer piece, maybe?
Love the overhang and it makes much more sense with the pink tab -- love that! I also appreciate that you changed directions -- that actually happens to me a lot and I thought I was so weird! I'm finding out it happens to almost everyone! Thanks for the affirmation!
I love the extras! It was a very nice card beforehand, but I enjoy watching your creativity in adding the extra embellishments as always.
You were right; the card looked good as is was, but the additions just made it really stand out. Love it!

Video - Finally Friday: Hello Friend by Justlulu posted 07/27/12 Galleries: Stamping, Cardmaking So, it's my favorite day of the week again! Finally Friday, and I'm happy to share a card with you guys today. I've cut this card down by 3/4 of an inch so that I could have some overhang and have it still fit in an envelope. I've mixed up a few different Echo Park lines for the patterned papers, and the house stickers are also from Echo Park, from the So Happy Together line. The sentiment is comprised of a Pebbles stamp, and an October Afternoon banner sticker. I also used my favorite new border stickers by Doodlebug to cover the line where the different papers overlap. You challenge is to make a card with some over hang :) |
