What a great technique to try, I'm going to see which colors I can do!

I love all your videos but I loved this one even more than usual. What a stunning layout. I am so inspired that I am going to try this, if Ican get a little break from hockey arenas! Guess in which North American country I live in!

This week Glitter Girl takes on the faded monochromatic trend of ombre, inspired by this message board thread [twopeasinabucket.com]. Her adventure takes her through options for creating ombre patterned paper and embellishments, then to completing a page with some of those supplies.

There are so many great looks that can be achieved with the ombre aesthetic, so have a look at these and bookmark your favourites:

Marcy Penner shares a tutorial for ombre lettering using Mistable Thickers [twopeasinabucket.typepad.com]
Pea Melinda Spinks creates a striking ombre pattern in the centre of her page [twopeasinabucket.com]

And you can watch the trend develop by following the Two Peas Ombre board on Pinterest [pinterest.com]!

Come along for the adventure, won't you?

This week, Glitter Girl challenges you toput your own spin on the ombre look, then share the results in the gallery! Don't forget to tick the box for the Glitter Girl challenge in step four of the uploading process.

Join us every Wednesday for the Adventures of Glitter Girl, helping the world one crafting dilemma at a time. Each week Glitter Girl joins Two Peas via video to solve a problem posted on the message boards. Don't miss out as she shares project tutorials, product comparisons and technique tips throughout the year.
