So many fun details - love it! Thanks for sharing.
I love all of your videos! I'm having a hard time finding where you purchase the embellishments that you cut out with your Silhouette. Also wondering if these can be cut with a Cricut...
Love the layout...once again. Did you realize your nail color matched your layout? LOL. Thanks!
I also liked how you used two photos and then the journaling block. What a good variation on the three photos across the middle.
Great video as always - I really like that you paired your photos w. a journaling block. And I loved your red nails! Maria
Video - Glitter Girl Adventure 040: Die-Cut Dynamics Part2
This week Glitter Girl brings you the first of a two part miniseries inspired by this discussion [twopeasinabucket.com] on the General Scrapbooking message board. She's taking on die-cuts - specifically, mixing die-cuts with other embellishments so they work hand in hand with your favourites. Part one last week focused on manual die-cutting - the kind that uses a metal cutting die and a machine like a Sizzix Big Shot or similar. Part two this week looks at more specific shapes cut with an electronic cutter, like a Silhouette (including the Silhouette Cameo) or Cricut.
If you're interested in more die-cutting details, don't miss the Getting the Most from your Die-Cutting Machine [twopeasinabucket.com] series at Two Peas! You'll find twelve different lessons with plenty of detail there.
Come along for the adventure, won't you?
This week, Glitter Girl challenges you to use more specific die-cut shapes on a project along with pre-made embellishments, then share the results in the gallery! (If you don't have an electronic die-cutter, don't despair! You could print a page of shapes and try cutting them with scissors. They don't need to be difficult to cut to be more specific than a circle!) Don't forget to tick the box for the Glitter Girl challenge in step four of the uploading process.
Join us every Wednesday for the Adventures of Glitter Girl, helping the world one crafting dilemma at a time. Each week Glitter Girl joins Two Peas via video to solve a problem posted on the message boards. Don't miss out as she shares project tutorials, product comparisons and technique tips throughout the year.
