Glitter girl you are awesome. I love your videos and you have brought me back to two peas because you are teaching me how to scrap in a whole new way. I actually use the products I buy and I am loving my layouts. Thank you so much. I have watched your videos more than twice each. I cannot get enough. Thank you so much for all your inspiration.
Great video! Placed a big order yesterday. Can't wait to try some of the ideas you've shown in your GG videos. Thank you!
First thickers and now stamps! Every gg video seems to make me want to go on a spending spree.
Video - Glitter Girl Adventure 041: Simply Smashing Stamps
Galleries: Scrapbooking, Stamping
This week Glitter Girl takes on some simple stamping guided by the basic principles of design, inspired by this discussion [twopeasinabucket.com] on the General Scrapbooking message board. This adventure takes her through the creation of two new layouts, one focusing on emphasis and another on repetition.
There are many resources here at Two Peas for both stamping and design principles, so for more inspiration, check out:
The Scrapbook Stamper's Workshop by Jen Gallacher [twopeasinabucket.com]
Scrapbook Stamping with Nichol Magouirk [twopeasinabucket.com]
Design School Part One [twopeasinabucket.com] and Part Two [twopeasinabucket.com]. (Read those two from the bottom article on the page to the top, as they are posted on the blog in reverse chronological order.)
Come along for the adventure, won't you?
This week, Glitter Girl challenges you to use one or more stamps on your project - preferably thinking of at least one design principle, then share the results in the gallery! Don't forget to tick the box for the Glitter Girl challenge in step four of the uploading process.
Join us every Wednesday for the Adventures of Glitter Girl, helping the world one crafting dilemma at a time. Each week Glitter Girl joins Two Peas via video to solve a problem posted on the message boards. Don't miss out as she shares project tutorials, product comparisons and technique tips throughout the year.
