Video - In The Mood To Scrap - You & Me
Hi Peas! And welcome to a brand new weekly series called IN THE MOOD TO SCRAP! It's a cool idea where a garden girl creates a mood-board and based on it, create a scrapbook page. I am going to show (and explain) to you how this layout, which is based on a Pinterest moodboard, came together! You'll find a new lesson in this series in the Videos section of Two Peas each Tuesday.
Here's the link to my pinterest mood-board [pinterest.com] .
Here´s a bit about the products I chose: As mentioned in the video, I wanted to incorporate the red/white/black/yellow/neutral color scheme of my moodboard, as well as the double shapes of the ampersand. Therefore I chose papers and embellishments that fit the color scheme: Crate Paper (Fourteen, Sleigh Ride and On Trend collection), Glitz Design (Yours Truly, Hello Friend and Joyeux Noel), Pink Paislee (Portfolio, City Sidewalks), Studio Calico (wood veneer) and American Crafts (Amy Tangerine date stamp). I also added a bit of blue (using masking tape) as that fits the photo and connects photo and page.
My challenge this week: create a scrapbooking project about you and someone you love/like a lot inspired by any of the images in my ampersand moodboard. Every month we will draw a winner from all the MOOD TO SCRAP entries and reward them with a $10 gc. It will be announced on the 2peas blog.
Have a lovely day,
