I love that you did a 2 page spread on this video. You should do more of those, for us peas that struggle to make a combined spread work.
I love your double page Shimelle. Thank you for stepping us through how you covered that journal box with the flowers. This one tip gave me so many ideas.

I love the two page layout! Great ideas for embellishments, as always. I also like the new beginning to the videos.
:-)
Loved watching this. Unless I have something really specific as a title, I usually add it at the end and I think it shows sometimes. I'm looking forward to being more considered with my titles and seeing what that brings to my layouts!

Video - Glitter Girl Adventure 052: Tricky Title Trouble by shimelle posted 01/09/13 Galleries: Scrapbooking This week, Glitter Girl's help is on the way to Pea Celine2Peas, who posted on the General Scrapbooking message board about her trouble adding titles to her scrapbook pages [twopeasinabucket.com]. This adventure takes Glitter Girl through a new layout (a double page with five 4x6 photos) with plenty of information along the way, including thinking about your title as the middle of your creative process rather than just the beginning. Come along for the adventure, won't you? This week Glitter Girl challenges you to share a project - but with a twist: in the layout description, tell us why you made the title the way you did. What made you make that decision for a certain font, colour, or placement. Share it with us in the gallery, and don't forget to check the box for this week's challenge in step four of the upload process. If you want Glitter Girl to save the world from your crafting dilemma, don't forget to post it on the General Scrapping forum here at Two Peas! *Other things you might find useful this week:* This week's page uses a design similar to the May 2011 edition of 4x6 Photo Love. Here's that video for further ideas with five 4x6 photos over a double page: And if it's the final embellishment that intrigues you the most, then here's Glitter Girl's guide to clustered accents: |
