Lilith-Thank you so much for such an inspiring video. I have never been a stamper but you encouraged me to pull them out and get some use out of them. I love your layouts and I hope to see more videos from you in the near future.
this is such an inspirational video. I never tried so much layering (stashing mini envelope, paper etc) on a layout.. I might give it a try soon.. and I hope I can join this challenge too. I love how you stamped the hearts too.

I love the heart masked stamping!
Love this, Lilith! You always make me want to scrap!
Lilith - this is the second video of yours that I've watched and I've learned SO much! I struggle with using stamps on LO. The masking technique is amazing and also the stamping on vellum. It's just so much fun to watch your creative process - that's another lesson in itself. Thank you!

Video - Scrap your stash: The best forever favourite ... by Lilith Eeckels posted 01/31/13 Galleries: Scrapbooking, Stamping Hi, Lilith here and I'd like to welcome to another episode of SCRAP YOUR STASH. I'll be filling in for Amy Heller this week. Like many scrapbookers I hoard supplies and sometimes I even forget what I have as I like having everything neat and tidy which also means I don't see all the supplies I have. I have loads and loads of stamps and unlike other supplies such as washi tape or buttons which I can see, they are nicely put away in folders and boxes. Not seeing them means I don't use them. What helps me is to look through my stamp collections before starting a layout and picking a few I might be able to use. I lay them on my table and I will be more inclined to use them as they are in sight. For this video I created a layout using some of my favourite stamping techniques: 1. Masked stamping 2. Stamping on vellum 3. Stamping to create embellishments 4. Stamping as part of the title 5. Stamping & Embossing 6. Stamping in the journalling. Using my stamps in different ways also makes the investment worth the while. LINKS to the title cut file I created: Foreverfavourite SVG file [dropbox.com]; Foreverfavourite PNG file [dropbox.com] Challenge: Rummage through your stamp supplies and use them on project. Try and get the most out of them by using different techniques. Above all have FUN. Upload your project to the gallery and check the SCRAP YOUR STASH challenge box. We will draw a winner from that month's SCRAP YOUR STASH entries. The winner will be announced on the Two Peas blog and will receive a 10$ gift certificate to the Two Peas store. |
