Hi Peas! Welcome to another video of the weekly IN THE MOOD TO SCRAP series! It's a cool idea where a garden girl creates a mood-board and based on it, creates a scrapbook page. I am going to show (and explain) to you how this layout, which is based on a Pinterest moodboard, came together! You'll find a new lesson in this series in the Videos section of Two Peas each Tuesday.

Here's the link to my pinterest mood-board [pinterest.com].

Here´s a bit about the products I chose: When creating the mood board, I searched for arrow images as well as for a valentine/love related color scheme that wasn´t too girly. In the end I had four colors that I wanted to use: gold, pink, grey and turquoise. I went through my stash and decided to use products from Dear Lizzy (5th and frolic), Amy Tangerine (ready.set.go), Crate Paper (fourteen), Studio Calico (sprays, embellishments and mask), Glitz Design (stamps, alphabet), Faber-Castell (Gelatos) and American Crafts (thickers). I also used embossing powder (new ZING powders will soon hit the store!), twine, pens, distress tools, paper piercer, self healing mat, scissors, paper trimmer and glue (dots). I wanted the page to appear happy and light, so I chose a light background and didn´t add too many dark colors to the layout.
FYI: Some of these products have a 25-30% disocunt at the moment! Please have a look at the supply list on the bottom of this site.

My challenge this week: create a scrapbooking project based on the color scheme of my moodboard AND add arrows to your page (handdrawn, stamped, die-cuts..). Every month we will draw a winner from all the MOOD TO SCRAP entries and reward them with a $10 gc. It will be announced on the 2peas blog.

I´d also like to show you a video in which I am working with the brandnew Glitz Design products. Here you can see how I like to use the roller stamps (love them!).

Have a lovely day,
Janna
