Great job. Beautiful layout and card.
Thanks for the layout ideas, always looking for new ways to use those 6x6's!
The board I am working on is a BasicGrey magnetic cutting mat. :)
Tracie - the tag manages to stay there without any issues :) But you could also add a stitched border around the tag area to keep it from going anywhere!
Love your LO! Wonderful! Handsome young man and a cute gecko. Tag is very pretty!
Very cute....
What is that board you are working on..is it magnetic?

Video - Seeing Double: A Gecko to Love by bluestardesign posted 02/22/13 Galleries: Scrapbooking, Cardmaking I'm a big fan of patterned papers and tend to use lots of them on my layouts, but selecting the perfect coordinating papers to use can be a time-consuming process (and wastes valuable minutes that I'd rather use for the actual scrapping!) Using a 6x6 paper pads is a great way to eliminate that selection process, because the patterns and colors are already coordinated and ready to go. For this week's video, I've chosen the American Crafts XOXO 6x6 paper pad and am creating a striped background for my layout. The stripes provide lots of pattern and color to my page, and also provide a place to tuck my journaling tag into. With some of the leftover scraps, I've utilized the same striped technique on a tag. It would make a great accent on a future layout or card, or could be used as a special gift tag. CHALLENGE: Use at least 5 pieces from a 6x6 paper pad on a layout and tag (or card!) Upload your projects to the correct challenge gallery for a chance to win a 2Peas Gift Certificate. Challenge ends 3/31/13. We will draw a winner from all the Seeing Double challenge entries and announce it on the Two Peas blog on the 1st. |
