I love the color scheme! It has a different feel from your usual stuff!
I learn so much watching you "build" your embellishments. The camera strap is so unique!
Another great video GG! Just used that Amy Tangerine mini-book for a cruise - it's the perfect size - enough room to record a week of travel - no blank pages when I'm done! I'll probably put mine in a pocket on a page so it's all together.
I really liked this one a lot! I sometimes add a second page with pictures into my albums but I love how you tied the two pages toegther with just a few small embellishment! Thank-you!
LOVE this, Shimelle! (I mean... Glitter Girl!) So fun!
Thanks for showing those Glitz papers layers, I wondered what they were. Thanks also for another great episode!
Video - Glitter Girl Adventure 058: Worldly Writing Worry
This week's Glitter Girl Adventure was inspired by this discussion [twopeasinabucket.com], all about ideas for capturing memories and emotions while on the road so your travel scrapbooks can convey the same type of stories you remember from your actual experience. Her adventure takes a look at a few different ways to take notes on the road, then onto making a 12x12 layout with an accompanying 8.5x11 page protector filled with travel writing.
For more reference on scrapping with a DayBook, check out this project [twopeasinabucket.com] and this project [twopeasinabucket.com], made on the road by Garden Girl Amy Tan.
Come along for the adventure, won't you?
Choose your own challenge this week! Will you go with option a and focus on your travel scrapbooking or option b and focus on ways to include extended journaling? Either is fine! Just remember we really want to read your thoughts in the description box under your layout, so share your suggestions and ideas. Remember to check the box for this challenge in step four of the uploading process.
And I'll see you next Wednesday for another Glitter Girl Adventure! Don't forget to post on the General Scrapping message board when you have a crafty dilemma - Glitter Girl could be on her way to your problem next week!
