Love how this layout came together! Very inspiring Shimelle!
Always your layouts look lovely. I like how you give us design tips to help someone like me who struggles making gorgeous layouts like yours. Thank you GG for taking the time to make these videos for us and answering my question. Once I create my layout I will upload it here.
Love this, how you talk through your choices etc. I've also been thinking a lot lately about tags and journalling spots, and how to personalise them - and even make my own. They just seem to be everywhere right now, nearly overload. And for the many of us who don't PL it can be a bit much1
It's not just you. I forget my stamps too. I'll add that to my challenge. I love to hear you think out loud as you go through your process. It expands my thinking.
I think this is one of my favorite episodes! I love the added touches like the color to the skyline stamp and the stick pins. The lesson using the touches of brown as an example is something I will remember about future layouts. Thank you GG!
you are ELEMENTAL !!!! I love how you place elements and embellishments. This episode had me thinking..... the dark in the photos would have been good enough for me... then, I watched you add darker elements to the edges of the photos...it expanded the eye to the whole 12X12.....Thanks for the lesson!
Video - Glitter Girl Adventure 059: Cut-Out Card Conundrum
This week, Glitter Girl shares three ways to use journaling cards on 12x12 pages - aside from just writing on them, of course! Inspired by this discussion [twopeasinabucket.com] on the General Scrapping board, her adventure takes her through a variety of journaling cards in different shapes and sizes to design the layout, embellish the page, and customise the journaling.
Come along for the adventure, won't you?
Your challenge this week is to use a journaling card in any way you like! Upload your project to the gallery, and in the notes be sure to include your ideas for using these supplies in a way that works for you. Don't forget to check the box for this challenge in step four of the upload process.
If you're looking for additional Glitter Girl ideas on journaling cards, you may find these two episodes useful:
