Video - Glitter Girl Adventure 061: Work your Weakness
This week Glitter Girl brings you something a little different: inspired by this discussion [twopeasinabucket.com] on the General Scrapping message board, she gathered all her favourite supplies - those products she'll happily pick up in every colour, for example - and uses them to create two pages following very similar design principles but with just a few slight differences - along with different colours and themes - to make pages that result in quite different styles. One example is a travel page with bold colours and distressed patterns; the other is a wedding page in pale, delicate shades with plenty of white and pretty little hearts and confetti for a look that's more minimal.
Come along for the adventure, won't you?
This week Glitter Girl challenges you to showcase your natural style by creating a page with the things you are drawn to: the products you buy repeatedly, the colours you love most, the number or size of photos you prefer, the design ideas you enjoy! In fact, if ‘style’ is something you feel you're searching for, this is a great way to identify it! Upload your project to the gallery here at Two Peas, and be sure to check the box for this challenge in step four of the upload process. Please tell us about your creative process in the layout description box - what is your scrapbook shopping weakness and how do you like to use it on your pages?
For more ideas for really embracing the products you love, keep an eye on the Scrap your Stash video series here at Two Peas. Each video focuses on a different supply, and when it coincides with the products you love to collect, you'll find extra inspiration for really putting them on show on your pages. You can find Scrap your Stash under the videos tab at the top right of the screen.
