I bought this stencil recently and haven't used it yet, thanks for showing a lovely way to use it! Excited to try now! If you wanted to use the bits of the stencil you removed another time, would you just place them back where they were and they would stay put?
This is just so lovely. The color scheme, the technique with the stencil, I love it all

I really like your work, this Background looks fabulous!
So fun! Love the colors on here. We went to Oahu in 2011 and had malasadas at Leonard's twice! Brings back great memories!
Video - Scrap Your Stash: Malasada Day 2013
Some layouts make me misty-eyed, but others leave me misty-fingered. The layout featured in this week's Scrap Your Stash video is definitely of the latter kind! In this video, I'll walk you through the process of using masking and misting to create a colorful background. I'll also share my process for selecting items from my stash that not only work with the color scheme of the layout, but also enhance the overall theme.
CHALLENGE: Pull out those masks, shake up those mists, and get scrapping! Your challenge is to use masking and misting on a project. Enter the challenge for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to Two Peas. We'll draw a winner from all the Scrap Your Stash challenge entries this month and make the announcement on the Two Peas blog.
