Beautiful cover, and gorgeous in the simplicity of putting it together.
Love the cover. You make me want to paint!
This is so pretty - love the green and blue combination on the cover. And I didn't realize that you could write on paint like that. Thanks so much for showing us your book - your little friend will love it. Maria
This incredible. From Mood Board to the finished project, love!
Love love love that cover!
Very cute! I made your matchbook mini last month and it worked out great. I will have to try this one too. Thanks!
Video - In the Mood to Scrap: Amazing Adventures Mini Book
Welcome to another In the Mood to Scrap.
This week I am showing how I put together a very simple “on the go” mini book using on-hand items from your stash. This particular mini book was made for a special 11 year old girl for her birthday.
I also demonstrated how to paint and create a hand lettered/drawn cover on this easy book.
This month is our Color themed month, this week's focus is green and this special friend's favorite color is Green! It all worked out so brilliantly! My moodboard was created from items I found on pinterest that focus on the color green, green combinations, ombre effects and hand-lettering samples of various forms.
My challenge this week is to create an on-the-go mini book, in any format, be with your sewing machine, staples, binding rings, ribbons, string, (any kind of binding materials you want), and other supplies you have in your stash at home. We'll draw a winner from all the In the Mood to Scrap participants at the end of the month and announce them on the Two Peas blog.
