awesome video --- love this one !!!
I Love this Jill - wish I had seen it earlier to use my stash - lord knows I've got plenty! :)
Your commentary is always so fun! Thanks for the entertainment, the depth of your emotional journaling, and of course the educational value - "smooshing tequnique". Hilarious!
Great layout Jill. Loved it!
I am taking this challenge as I also love buying travel collections and I don't travel enough to use them all, however, my daughter is getting a lovely 12 x 12 album about her travels. I love the idea in this video and plan to document this particular stage in my life where my children are close to becoming adults and the changes that this brings.
Like the "commentor" (is that a wrod?) before me, I also love your commentary during the videos. They are as entertaining as they are informative. Thanks so muh for sharing your thought process, creative process and talents with us.
Thanks for sharing your journaling, I love this page! You are so fun to listen to.
Video - Scrap Your Stash: Maps and Globes
by Jill Sprott
This week's Scrap Your Stash video focuses on maps and globes, which are often considered travel-themed products; however, they need not be limited to travel-themed layouts.
“Wherever you go, there you are” – this quote inspired this layout, which is less of a “selfie” kind of self-portrait layout and more of a self-seeking layout. The more I started reflecting on my place in this world, the more I started thinking in terms of the elements that comprise this world – fire, air, earth, and water – and that led me to incorporate those elements in different ways on the page.
In this video, I'll take you through my process for selecting the “elemental” items and techniques used on the layout, and I'll show you how I made a dent in my stash of travel-themed products without having to buy a plane ticket.
Challenge: Create a project that makes use of travel-themed products such as maps and globes. Share your project in the gallery by the end of the month (don't forget to check the correct challenge box when you're uploading your project). We'll draw a winner of a $10 gift certificate from all the Scrap Your Stash challenge entries and announce it on the Two Peas blog at the beginning of June. Have fun!
